If you put me in Survivor : Guatemala, I guess I would act much like Jamie - paranoid, keep asking people who’s safe and who’s not….

Recently, gravity didn’t pull me down. It seems a lot of things happen in between of a very busy schedule(referring to campus life) to a very ample time at home.

1) Exam

I started my exam very early (before Raya) and ended it quite late (that was yesterday) and there’s nothing much I did to make it better. I watched Harry Potter at 12 midnight, ended around 3 and I had an exam at 9 a.m. I thought it was a very stupid move considering I might oversleep and miss a very important exam. But the days passed me and I’m hoping that it won’t happen again.

2) Debate

As the competition coming closer, the training is totally giving some pressure. Might be because we need to grab teh momentum to keep going. Not to mention some conflicts and drama along the hours, which I just not feeling right to share it with everyone reading (I’m sorry for mentioning it at the very 1st place)

3) Movie

My statement in my blog about Harry Potter was another things. Well, I’m fanatic of survivors and I know how do you feel for being a fanatic. But I guess everytime I read articles (in www.survivorfever.net - site which provide all article about survivor from different sources), and sometimes I meet article giving bad comment about my favourite player or about the whole thing itself, I read it and learn the fun part of it.

Just same as talking about Mawi - you know the issue of Singaporean Radio DJ who insult Mawi in his station? I thought, is it that bad until Malaysia newspaper need to pinpoint it such he’s doing a terrible mistakes.

Besides, it’s not like I haven’t hear people said bad things about my fav band - Blue, Westlife - and relate it as boyband…

4) Money

It’s kinda stressing when everytime I open my wallet, the money is decreasing by its value and not much left in the bank.

But at least, I’m happy to get my paycheck this morning. At least I could survive a lil bit longer….

This should be my wrap up blog about Harry Potter.

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire was quite frustrating for me. It might be because of the ending - a friend died and evil brought back. It might be because of the dark theme it brought along the story. It might be because it keep me wonder why does Hermione really care about Ron didn’t ask her to be his partner, and why did Ron was such a jerk - didn’t trust of Harry (aren’t they are good friends ; and also how un-gentleman Harry and Ron were at the ball.

However, it’s still entertaining to watch this movie. Some of my favourite part in the movie is when Hermione and Harry was shot (by the camera) while they’re hugging and then Dumbledore asked her what’s she doin’ there. And also when the girls and boys from the other school came in to the canteen (I’m sure it’s not a canteen but they eat there right?).

I have not much to comment for, since it was past few days that I watched the movie, and it’s not really fresh in my mind anymore. So, if you ask me whether you should watch the movie, err, it’s a phenomenon, yes but it’s fine if you wanna watch Just Like Heaven instead of the Potter…

After I post my blog (which I post in the bulletin board also), I got a respond from my friend, Naz, which is a totally big fan of Harry Potter. You wanna know or study anything about Harry Potter, just ask him. I guess his respond is on the behalf of the fan. He wrote in the bulletin board,

How dare u say that!! Do you know that Dumbledore really loves and cares about Harry? Even if u dont read the book, dont you see how mad Dumbledore is when Harry Potter’s name come out from the Goblet of Fire? In fact, he asks Barty Crouch from the Ministry of Magic in the first place to decide wether to allow Harry proceed to compete in the tournament or not. Barty has to allows Harry to compete because there’s no turning back is your name is selected by the Goblet of Fire… because u re one of the champions….Dumbledore really worries u know when Harry is selected. Let me tell you something,Dumbledore die in the 6th book just to protect Harry Potter. Do u think Dumbledore would dance happily because he got a higher probability for his school to win the tournament? Think again, Mr Am. Dumbledore is a very special character in Harry Potter series.
All fans know that!

Well, I’m happy to say that I didn’t read the book and if you(referring to the reader, not Naz) think that I miss a lot of the truth beneath the book, that’s because I WAS watching the movie. My complaint is on the movie itself. And plz read it as a matter of poking-fun-thing, not a matter of insultation of HP itself.

The story started when Harry had a nightmare. Oooh, he heard the voice of you-know-who, Lord Voldermort. And then he woke up by Hermione. What’s she’s doing in Ron house. Oh, they’re all heading to Quidditch World Cup. Forget about walking thru the wall, this time they have something more unique. Hat. Okay, you don’t see much quidditch in harry Potter III right. Bet everyone wanna watch more this time but you could only see a part where the minister of magic opened the tournament. And then, whoop, everybody is celebrating in their room, talking about the player they like. I meant, duh, this director really hate quidditch or at least think FIFA is much ‘cool’er than this quidditch. My main point is, you don’t see quidditch being played.

Then, suddenly there’s come an attack. From Death Eater (is it its name?). Everybody runaway and - cut - the new students come to Hogward (I cut the boring typical part). You could see a bunch of girls (popular type from all girls school I guess) and a bunch of boys (from all boys school) come for a Triwizard competition where the winner will get a trophy and so-called famous. It’s that all? I thought they’ll get some money or scholarship instead of just being a popular person in the school or among just 3 schools, duh, I guess they try to teach, well, famous is an important thing. Right (Surely at this point all Harry Potter fans gonna say, "shut up you" + "{some other bad word}" to me)

Then everyone who wanted to join the competition has to put their name in Goblet of Fire and that things will decide who will be the champion and will be the representative of their school. But only for 17 and above, or another word 17PL competition. Might contains some violence and sex.

But guess who’s chosen, a pretty girl (from the girl school), a handsome boy (from Hogward) and a muscular type boy (from all boy school) . That’s all. I thought, this is a good plot coz surely we don’t want to see the same hero (refer to harry) challenge in all of the important thing again. Let the other charm and attrative heroes do. But JK Rowlin knew that the fanatics of Harry Porter will not feel happy as I do, so the Goblet of Fire also choose Harry! Eu. So, there’re two person competing from Hogward, and because the extra person is from Hogward, Dumbledore said that ‘we need to respect the Goblet of Fire‘. Well, that’s what happen if you got the good part. Or he should say, ‘without taking MAT263 Probability, I already knew that my school’s chance of winning is 1/2, better than 1/3′.

The main issue of this blog is about spoiling. Scr konsepnya, spoil ni aku takrifkan sbg membocorkan ending sesuatu citer dsbb kan maklumat yang terbocor (misalnya kalo reality tv, ada orang yang dapat tau lebih awal sesiapa yang terkeluar) ataupun sbb spoiler ni (orang yang men’spoil’) tengok lebih awal citer tu berbanding kita. Boleh juga merujuk  kepada buku, movie, tv show etc.

Dan bagi kengkawan yang mengenali diriku ini, ramai yang tau aku mmg x suka orang yang spoil citer yang blum aku tgk, trutamanya reality tv laaa.

Sejarah di spoilkan
Pernah skali tu kat KMPP dulu, aku tgh duk sedap2 tgk The Mole 2nd season kat TV2. Dah la baru 1st episod, pastu senang2 je sorang mamat ni (tidak perlu disebut namanya)  pergi bagitau siapa dia The Mole. Aku bengang dan terus mengeluarkan kata-kata tak sopan (tak sampai tahap kesat laa). Aku suruh dia blah!

Pernah jugak waktu Survivor Australia, waktu tu survivor popular gila sampai ada orang cakap Colby yang menang. Tapi yang tu aku tahu bukan spoiler, stakat prediction jer sbb waktu diorang cakap, kat Amerika pun x tayang lagi Finale. Tapi skang ni dah ada byk spoiler dalam internet tentang reality tv yang popular.

Waktu Survivor Amazon hendak sampai akhirnya, waktu malam final tu, tetiba je aku dapat mesej dari ntah sapa ntah (waktu tu handphone Siemens aku yang lama, handphone tu xder nama kat mesej, kuar nombor jer) bagitau Jenna Morasca menang. Dengki betul

Dan baru-baru ni pun, Abang Tra (debat) nak bgtau apa yang berlaku dalam akhir citer Flight Plan. Tapi aku tutup telinga supaya x dengar. Waktu Apprentice 3 pun, abang Tra jugak lah yang bagitau sapa yang menang. Lepas tu aku terus x minat sangat nak tgk Apprentice 3 sebab dah tahu sapa pemenang.

Nak spoil?

Harapan aku ialah sesapa yang nak spoil, pergila spoil orang lain. Jangan spoil aku, nanti aku bengang. Kalo citer stereotaip aksi yang melambak kat pawagam berdekatan, lantaklah. Memang macam dah tau pun yang hero akan menang, ye tak? (Beri pengecualian terhadap citer The Skeleton Key)

Just like always, I’m very interested when it comes to reality tv. But after watching Fear Factor Malaysia last Friday, I’m not sure when is my 2nd time to see another episode…

Ada banyak sebab kenapa aku x brapa suka FFM. Aku senaraikan sebab2 tersebut

1) Shamsir Sidhu
Ntah knapa aku x nampak dia ada style tersendiri. Maybe he’s good in modelling and in commercial but he doesn’t have appeal in hosting. Disebabkan Fear Factor ni francais, so FFM supposely setaraf atau lebih baik termasuk dari segi pengacaraannya. Memanglah kalo rujuk Malaysian Idol dengan Pop Idol, kita dapati kes yang sama (Malaysian Idol is worse), tetapi sepatutnya FFM try to beat that kind of record.

As time goes by, mungkin FFM host akan menjadi lebih baik. Tapi, like 1 mentioned, doesn’t have much appeal as a host. Skejap dia menyokong peserta, skejap dia menakut-nakutkan.

2) Language
Apsal guna fully English? Kalo dah BI jugak, baiklah import terus je dari US. Dah sure lagi best. Stakat rupa je Malaysia, tapi cakap bahasa Inggeris, apa yang specialnya dengan Fear Factor MALAYSIA??

Sepatutnya buat dwi-bahasa cam Malaysian Idol. Host bercakap Bahasa Inggeris dan Bahasa Malaysia, macam Sheryll Samad slalu buat. Ataupun, kalo nak jugak cakap BI, jgn la force contestants untuk cakap fully English. Bagi diorang kebebasan untuk cakap BM. Barulah kita boleh dengar diorang jerit ‘Gelinya’ instead of ‘Eu’

Namun masih diharap penggunaan Bahasa Rojak tidak digunakan (sepertimana blog ini ditulis) untuk memelihara martabat Bahasa Malaysia.

3) The Game

Aku tgh duk figure out waktu Game 1, kat mananya yang fear? kalo memang dah tahu nak jatuh? Bagi yang x tengok. 1st game, diorang kena gayut pegang satu tempat pemegang dan bertahan paling lama. Dan bila dah terlepas, akan jatuh.

Lagi satu, aku x baper suka la part makan2 benda2 tu. Watching the original Fear Factor and watch that scene showed how much idiot the contestants are and how everything for them revolve in money. And still people keep asking, is it fear of eating those gross things? Jijik x semestinya takut kan?

It’s easy to say that when I watched FFM, I couldn’t see Malaysian culture there. With the clothes and all. Maybe yes, that Malaysian is getting to that level. But come on, when you see FFM and it’s just duplicating all the things, I wonder why I should watch FFM, instead of much better version of the original FF?

Take this as analogy. If someone write another version of Harry Porter, the same story but just altering the words, r u gonna read it?

This morning, I woke up at 12.45 a.m. Having a very typical life + study a lil bit. There’s nothing interesting happen. This is what I always say to my friends thru email whenever I stay at home in longer period (compare to weekend balik kampung)

I guess, what could I expect my holiday to turn out. As I call it holiday, I will usually have life which contrast to my life in campus. Busy in campus, nothing to do in home; Lot of problems attacking here and there in campus, lot of free mind in home; Lot of chit-chatting and back stabbing in campus, much more silent and peace in home; going to BJ,Gurney in campus, staying at home in home.

But I guess if I care much about my surrounding, I will notice there’re lot of interesting happen around my house. Just remember that my sis-in-law just gave birth to a baby boy this evening, and that made my mom’s grandchildren turn to 6 boys and a girl.

Recently, the boys (my nephews) are labelling themself as the character of Power Rangers. Currently they are watching Power Rangers Dino Thunder which I downloaded from the internet. And I guess
that it really potray them very much as there’s only one girl in this version of Power Rangers and the rest are boys.

Not to mention that they are totally chaotic when they gather.

Beside that, I found out that the celebration of Eid ended all in sudden. No more people coming and my family went to nowhere. But I guess it will restart in few days. Here, a lot of older generation start Eid fasting (posa 6) immediately on 2th day of Eid. And on 7th of Syawwal, a lot of houses make ketupat again and continue visiting houses of friends. Just don’t like this style. Might be because I already used to the raya tradition in Perak.

I also found out that my mom share her birthday date (7th of November) with my host mom in Japan. I was excited about that because I know that next year, I could celebrate that day with more meaningful.

After mumbling around a little bit in this blog, I could see that actually lot of things happen in my house. But maybe because all of those things didn’t require me to think a lot and put the pressure on me, I took it all for granted.

Hopefully, I will value every moment in my life as every single minutes in my life is precious. I should realise that!

Untuk raya tahun ini, aku xder tolong mak aku buat kuih memandangkan balik umah pun 2-3 ari sbelum raya jer. Aku cuma tolong gulung kulit popia yang kemudiannya mak aku potong dan goreng sampai rangup dan kemudian ’segha’ air gula.

Seperti mana yang aku tulis sbelom ni, aku tak bercadang pun untuk beli baju raya. Tapi semakin raya dekat ari tu, aku rasa tak syok pulak bila mengenangkan aku akan pakai baju melayu KMPP pada hari raya puasa buat kali yang keempat. Dah la waktu kat KMPP dulu pun pakai tiap-tiap minggu. Gi NFU pun pakai baju tu jugak. So, aku pun pergi la SP sehari sebelum raya. Dan menghabiskan (sebut membelanjakan lebih sedap didengar, ye tak) duit beli baju melayu warna biru setelah dekat 2 jam la kot aku berpusing-pusing kat jam besar tu.

Tapi raya kali ni, aku beraya dengan famili dulu. Kul 3, baru join kengkawan gi beraya rumah kawan-kawan form 5 dulu. Dulu, kebiasaannya dari kul 11 lagi aku akan beraya ngan kawan-kawan.

Rupa-rupanya dalam masa setahun ni, keluarga kembangan aku makin berkembang. Gi beraya rumah wa (mak long), ada cucu baru, mak ndak aku pun dapat cucu baru waktu bulan posa ari tu, mak lang aku pun akan dapat cucu baru pada bulan Januari, InsyaAllah, dan mak aku pun akan dapat cucu baru, InsyaAllah, dalam agaknya esok lusa. Uuuih, best gak duk picit pipi baby-baby (should written as babies) yang comel tuh.

Raya kali ni gak, aku banyak menghabiskan masa depan komputer, maklumlah komputer baru, dah lama berada dalam era lembab sejak 1999. Aku duk mendownload reality tv dari IRC dan jugak mengedit video The Mole musim kedua yang dishooting sbelom masuk cuti ari tu. Sbg preview, korang bleh la download kat sini.

Slamat Ari Raya.

A simple word that make people fighting over each other.
Personally, as I just edit in my Friendster profile, I am a person who is easy to trust someone. As I feel comfortable with a person, I will let him/her listening to my thoughts that came from my heart. If I counted since I was a little kid, I bet there’s a lot of friends which I share my dreams and my visions, my thoughts while happy and sad, instead of being silent like what I did with my current roommates.

But because I trust someone, it is just killing me sometimes when I couldn’t rely on the person I trust anymore. It might be my personality which is kinda sensitive that makes me lose my trust easily just after a very minor and small incident.

But do I regret if someone is stabbing from behind, or might be in front? I’ll say no. Because having a friend to lean on some problems was very helpful as I’m a person who hates to be lonely. Help me by lending your ear. That’s all I hope for.

But just a reminder for myself, maybe next time I shouldn’t easily put my trust on someone too much. In the world nowadays, where tsunami could attack Malaysia, or in another words, where nothing is impossible, a foe can turns to a friend, and friend could become your foe, or a foe can become your friend that turn to an enemy again; keeping it to myself is better sometimes. Not to hide something foolish, or immatured, or shameful things, but to avoid people manipulating that things until it turn out to uninspirational, demotivated and so on. Sometimes, the cure of some problems is only in our hand by being alone.

As Eid is coming, I always forgive (or at least try to forgive) people mistakes which they have done to me and hoping people will do the same upon me. But this immature kid forgot how to forget those mistakes just to learn more about the world, and the people who live in it. The people you couldn’t trust!
