Harry Potter: GoF (Counter-attack)

Published by flexin-am at 2:04 am under Film

After I post my blog (which I post in the bulletin board also), I got a respond from my friend, Naz, which is a totally big fan of Harry Potter. You wanna know or study anything about Harry Potter, just ask him. I guess his respond is on the behalf of the fan. He wrote in the bulletin board,

Dearest Am,
u wrote : "I guess using a spell to just orb themself will make they looked like Charmed.
Flying using the car is so Harry Potter III, or was it II (Who cares). So they use this trick to make people say what’s an original idea, but we have to admit it looks pretty stupid." Dont u know that it was not a hat but a broken boot. The boot is a Portkey, thing that is bewitched to transport people from one place to another at a setting time. JK Rowling never copies the idea from Charmed. In wizarding world, u may disapparate and apparate (dissappear at wiill and transport onself instantly to any destination). But, one must has a licence from Department of Magical Transportation which can only be issued to those of 17 and over. That’s why they use Portkeywhich authorisedby the Ministry of Magic. Do you know, Am
why it must be that dirty boot? Because to make sure Muggles (non-magical people)wont go&touch it

2nd…. Quidditch World Cup has to be cut because the length of the movie is just 2 and
1/2 hours. There are lots of subplots that really interesting from the book have been cut off .
We’re fans are not really complaining because we do understand that the time is limited. SO,
it is a privilege to those who read the book. So, Am if u want details why dont u just read the book and stop complaining!!

3rd… u might say that it is a cliche to see Harry Potter’s name come out from the Goblet and compete in the Triwizard Tournament and u wish that only 3 students to sompete (not
including Harry) then, there is no story about Harry Potter. You have to understand that
Harry Potter is the main character of the story so the main plot is absolutely must about him.
In fact, the Triwizard Tournament is not only a wizarding game but a medium to bring harry to Voldemort at the end. It is well planned by his loyal servant, Barty Crouch Jr.

then Am, u wrote ."…so the Goblet of Fire also choose Harry! Eu. So, there’re two person
competing from Hogward, and because the extra person is from Hogward, Dumbledore said that
‘we need to respect the Goblet of Fire’. Well, that’s what happen if you got the good part. Or he should say, ‘without taking MAT263 Probability, I already knew that my school’s chance of winning is 1/2, better than 1/3′."

How dare u say that!! Do you know that Dumbledore really loves and cares about Harry? Even if u dont read the book, dont you see how mad Dumbledore is when Harry Potter’s name come out from the Goblet of Fire? In fact, he asks Barty Crouch from the Ministry of Magic in the first place to decide wether to allow Harry proceed to compete in the tournament or not. Barty has to allows Harry to compete because there’s no turning back is your name is selected by the Goblet of Fire… because u re one of the champions….Dumbledore really worries u know when Harry is selected. Let me tell you something,Dumbledore die in the 6th book just to protect Harry Potter. Do u think Dumbledore would dance happily because he got a higher probability for his school to win the tournament? Think again, Mr Am. Dumbledore is a very special character in Harry Potter series.
All fans know that!
———-End of message

Well, I’m happy to say that I didn’t read the book and if you(referring to the reader, not Naz) think that I miss a lot of the truth beneath the book, that’s because I WAS watching the movie. My complaint is on the movie itself. And plz read it as a matter of poking-fun-thing, not a matter of insultation of HP itself.

To be continued
