Si Tenggang’s Homecoming

Saje je tulis tajuk yang cambest. Seolah-olah exam dah start je. Sem ni aku amik 5 paper. Tapi 2 paper yang xder final exam.

Tadi ada viva skit. Final Year Project. Abih dah. So baru la nak start tumpu pada paper2 exam. Yang bestnya, start study week 8hb, aku nyer exam 29hb. Macam ada 20 hari untuk study.

So, petang ni start la kelas discussion intensif aku. Memula bincang 228 - Pengenalan Permodelan. Seminggu sebelum 29, baru nak bincang 389 - Pengiraan Kejuruteraan II.

Sem ni agak memenatkan sebab aku banyak habiskan masa untuk final year project. Buat B-spline. Sebenarnya, xlah susah sangat benda tu. Tapi disebabkan belajar sendiri, pening gak kepala. Dan Mathematica (program math), aku kenal pasti sebagai program yang banyak kelemahan. Walaupun formula dah masuk elok. Tapi hasil dia hampeh.  Graf x memenuhi apa yang dikehendaki. Lemah betul.

Kepada junior-junior math yang nak melangkah ke tahun 3. Kalo korang cadang nak sambung master, amik la final year project. Sekurang-kurangnya bleh belajar skit cara nak buat penyelidikan. Tapi kalo korang stakat nak kerja, amik la paper. Pasti bleh lepak sepanjang semester sambil tengok wayang pada hari Selasa…

Tadi aku seolah-olah tersedar yang dalam masa yang singkat, hidup aku akan berubah. Tak lagi dalam ‘comfortable zone’. Sama ada aku sambung Master kat USM atau tempat lain, sesuatu yang berbeza akan aku alami.

Kadangkala aku rasakan yang manusia perlukan perubahan. Sebab kalau sentiasa berada dalam keadaan statik, keselesaan tu tak menambah pengalaman. Dan bila berubah dari satu keadaan ke keadaan lain, barulah kita lebih menghargai keadaan sebelum ni.

Smalam kitorang buat barbeque bebudak debat. Farah1 (Saujana) cakap, yang kan ke best kalo keadaan camni (lepak2 bbq) bleh bertahan dua tiga hari. Aku cakap balik, bila keadaan ni x bertahan, baru la kita menghargai masa tersebut.

Hidup ni bukanlah dalam jangkaan manusia. Ada masanya perjalanan itu mudah dan mengikut perhitungan. Tapi tu maksudnya belum lagi diuji la tu..

I talked to a friend of mine last couple of nights. A simple chat about self esteem.

We need to realise how media has play a major part to decorate people’s personality. Some turn out to be good, some lose their confidence while some people on their own track. Lack of self-confidence is one of the problem occur on some people. Issei (Japan officer that visit Malaysia last couple of weeks) asked me about Malaysian guy. From his observation, he said how most of Malay aren’t fit enough. Like they do not go to gym and all.

I said that it’s true. It seems as the culture itself don’t really teach people to get fit, guys don’t really care about their shape as most of people believe how even bad-looking guy still could win pretty girl’s heart.

Back to the topic, how did all of the story really connected?

As the media is showing much and much of really good looking people over the television, some people think how perfect a person should be to win something. Example : handsome guy for pretty girl. To be a hero is to be fit and muscular. Being fair/white is sign of beautiful.

And we could see the decrease of someone’s confidence because of those fairy tales they watch on tv (or vcd or dvd).

Self-esteem is a major part that play along. If you are happy about yourself, and realise that people everywhere on earth are not perfect, and realise that you has your own strength and weakness, you won’t have to worry about those thing spread by the media.

But still, everyone could change who he is if he’s not comfortable with himself. Like reduce some weight, and become fair, and having a lean body. If that’s mean for yourself and your own satisfaction. But if you think to look better in the eyes of the other, believe me that you’re wasting your times. Coz no matter how perfect you are, people are still going to say something bad about you. Beside, how say that being unperfect is leading to unhappiness?

Ari tu aku gi tgk movie ngan Din. Kitorang cam in torn nak tengok Derailed ke Firewall. Last-last tanya pompuan kat kaunter dan dia cakap Firewall lagi best. So tengok la Firewall. Smalam baru tengok Derailed. Mungkin kurang dari segi aksi tapi ok gak citer ni

Aku agak bminat ngan citer ni sbb Jeniffer Aniston berlakon. Antara fav actress aku la.

Citer dia simple. Clive Owen dan Jeniffer Aniston ni 2 orang executive syarikat. 2-2 dah ada spouse dan anak. Tapi Clive Owen punya anak ada penyakit - Diabetes Tahap 1 - kena guna mesin dialisis setiap ari.

Kiranya Clive Owen ni cam bleh tahan la salary dia sbb mampu ada mesin dialisis kat umah. Nak jadi citer, Clive Owen berjumpa dengan Jeniffer Aniston dalam kereta api on the way nak ke pejabat. So, diorang ni pun ala-ala berminat la antara satu sama lain. Dipendekkan citer, diorang telah la pergi ke satu hotel yang tentunya bukan atas urusan kerja mahupun bertemu client (bleh paham kot…). Nak dijadikan citer, sementara diorang tengah nak bentangkan apa-apa yang patut (kertas kerja, perancangan dll…duh), ada sorang laki French yang datang dan merompak diorang.

Dipendekkan lagi citer, Clive Owen kena ugut. Lelaki French tu minta 20k dan seterusnya 100k. So, bermulalah beberapa aksi suspen. Jeniffer Aniston x kasi report kat polis takut nanti mencemarkan nama dia, dan takut suami dia ceraikan anak dia dan amik anak dia (hak penjagaan).

Twist citer ni apabila akhirnya Clive Owen akhirnya sedar yang Jeniffer Aniston pun terlibat sama dalam blackmail ni. Kira memang dah dirancang dari awal la.

Ending : Baik menang, jahat kalah.

Moral of the story : Citer nak bagus gak sbb pengajaran untuk Clive Owen dan penonton agar tidak ke hotel-hotel berkenaan untuk urusan-urusan berkenaan. Tak selamat hidup (mahupun mati).
