Katherine McPhee Rocks!
I was pretty impress with Taylor Hicks’s Do I Make You Proud. His voice isn’t ranging wide, but it’s enough to make me shiver after hearing for the first time. No wonder how he could become the next American Idol.
McPhee on the other hand, didn’t perform well on the finale. But I knew, her song (that she sang on that night) will turn out to be great when she enters the recording studio. And my instinct was right. I just downloaded My Destiny via Morpheus (Okay, I’ll buy her album once it hit Malaysia), and My Destiny was another song on my Hotz folder, together with Greenday’s Wake Me Up When September Ends.
This song is great. It’s on the same genre as Faith Hill’s There You’ll Be. But I was dissappointed because when it’s going to reach the end, her voice was flawed by computer effects. I’ve listened to the 2nd track - Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Great! Just like what she did in the finale.
