Si Tenggang’s Homecoming

How is it going? People asked. Well, okay. Yeah, I mean it this time. Contrary to the early period (6-7 months, not that early, half way probably), I was suffering a lot trying to adapt and cope with the study. Lately, Alhamdulillah, it is quite a smooth sailing for me. Dissertation is going fine. Probably not great, but fine is good enough for me. 3 weeks left and I am feeling fine about it.

Friends in USM seems to enjoy their convocation. Too bad I am not there to see and be a part of it. Kinda missing the convocation week as it is not happening here in Brunel. The convocation is basically about the ceremony. They don’t have stall, sales and performance. Who am I kidding? Usually back in USM, this is the time I will take the opportunity of going home. The reason is simple - during the convocation week, we don’t have classes (sometimes lecturer canceled it, or postponed <-that’s the word they use), and the cafe close. And the food in the convocation area is so overpriced and not necessarily delicious regardless how cool they try to name the food with some creative idea.

Congratulations anyway to my friends who are having the convocation this year. Life has just begun.

Other than that, it is pretty much sucks in here. As the Maghrib start to crawl earlier (now it is 8.30+-) and the sun rises at around 6 am, which is still early compare to Malaysia but before this, it is 5am), it seems like we are having a rainy period since last week. The weather is crap a lil bit. No sun and wet outside. It is cold even during the day.

I basically practise the same routine everyday. Sleeps when the sunrise and wake up during the afternoon. How cool is that?
